COMPANY DRIVER

Job Summary

The Company Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for staff, clients, visitors, and official company assignments. The role includes transporting personnel, delivering documents and materials, running official errands, and ensuring that assigned company vehicles are properly maintained and operated in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport staff, clients, and visitors for official assignments, meetings, and site visits.
• Handle the collection and delivery of documents, parcels, supplies, and other company materials.
• Ensure punctuality and plan routes efficiently.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine vehicle inspections.
• Report vehicle faults, accidents, and maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure vehicle documents and licences are valid and up to date, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Observe traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Perform other reasonable driving and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Minimum of 3 years' professional driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Abuja roads and routes.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Previous company or corporate driving experience is an advantage.

Performance Expectations

The driver will be assessed based on punctuality, safe driving, vehicle maintenance, accurate trip records, responsible use of company resources, and professional conduct.

Working Conditions

The role is based in Abuja and may require travel within or outside the city, flexible working hours, and occasional extended hours for official assignments.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦130,000.00 per hour
