Company Driver/ Procurement Support

The Driver / Procurement Support Staff is responsible for providing transportation and operational support to the Purchasing Department. The role includes conducting supplier canvassing, sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers, coordinating procurement activities, and identifying reliable vendors, particularly for automotive and heavy equipment spare parts. The position also supports procurement and import/export operations by ensuring the timely collection and delivery of materials, equipment, and procurement-related documents, thereby contributing to an efficient, cost-effective, and uninterrupted purchasing process.

• Conduct supplier canvassing and collection of quotations when necessary.
• Pick up purchased materials, spare parts, and equipment from suppliers.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding order collection and delivery schedules.
• Transport urgent materials required for company operations.
• Assist in the delivery and retrieval of items for repair, calibration, and warranty services.
• Process document submissions and collections from government agencies, freight forwarders / brokers, and logistics providers when required.
• Serve as the reliever Shuttle Driver whenever the regular shuttle driver is unavailable or as required by operational needs, ensuring the safe, timely, and uninterrupted transportation of company personnel.
