COMPANY NURSE

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Company Nurse to join the BW Superbakeshop-Eljin team in Tarlac City, Tarlac. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce. As Company Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering primary healthcare services, health promotion, and occupational health support to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment. This role is integral to our commitment to employee welfare and our corporate health management strategy.

What you'll be doing

• Providing occupational health assessments and monitoring for employees, including pre-employment medical examinations and periodic health screenings
• Administering first aid, emergency care and basic medical treatment to employees who sustain injuries or fall ill in the workplace
• Maintaining comprehensive health records and documentation for all employees in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
• Developing and implementing health promotion programmes and wellness initiatives to encourage healthy lifestyle choices among staff
• Conducting workplace health and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommending corrective measures
• Liaising with external healthcare providers, occupational health services and emergency medical personnel as required
• Providing health education and counselling to employees on topics such as infection control, nutrition, mental health and disease prevention
• Managing medical supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels and functionality
• Reporting on occupational health metrics and contributing to continuous improvement of workplace health outcomes
• Supporting compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company health protocols

What we're looking for

• A valid nursing degree or diploma from a recognized institution, with current licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience in occupational health nursing, community health nursing, or workplace health management
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to provide appropriate first aid and emergency care
• Proficiency in health record management and medical documentation systems
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
• Ability to develop and deliver health education programmes and wellness initiatives
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• A compassionate approach to employee health and wellbeing
• Preferred experience in food production or manufacturing environments
