Company Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Providing direct nursing care and first aid assistance to employees in the workplace.
• Assessing and triaging employee health concerns and injuries, determining appropriate treatment or referral to medical professionals.
• Maintaining comprehensive and confidential health records for all employees.
• Conducting workplace health assessments and promoting preventative health initiatives.
• Administering prescribed medications and treatments under medical supervision,
• Supporting occupational health and safety compliance, including pre-employment medical examinations and health screening programs.
• Developing and implementing health promotion programs and wellness activities for employees.
• Liaising with external healthcare providers, hospitals and emergency services when required.
• Maintaining and restocking medical supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for emergencies.
• Documenting and reporting on workplace health incidents and implementing corrective measures.
• Providing health education and counselling to employees on occupational health matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification recognized in the Philippines.
• Valid Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE) registration and active Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in occupational health nursing, industrial nursing, or general medical-surgical nursing.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and workplace health standards.
• Proficiency in emergency medical care, first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Sound clinical judgement and the ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of nursing care.
• Experience with health records management and medical documentation systems.
• Proficiency in English and Filipino languages, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics in healthcare.
• Preferred: Additional certification in occupational health nursing or workplace health management.
