Duties

• Safely operate commercial Box trucks across diverse OTR routes.
• Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals.
• Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper manual handling techniques.
• Transport materials and goods in compliance with Regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checks on manual transmission trucks and refrigeration units.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or safety concerns during transit.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight delivery across long distances.
• Valid Driver’s License. (NON CDL Commercial Driving).
• Demonstrated ability to operate Automatic transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for over-the-road driving routes.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and safety protocols related to truck driving.
• Experience with truck loading/unloading operations.
• Strong manual handling skills for load securing and cargo management in logistics environments.
