Compensation and Benefits Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Process periodic payroll accurately and ensure timely release along with corresponding payslips.
• Statutory Compliance: Calculate wages, tax withholdings, deductions, and handle accurate SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR remittances.
• eGov Management: Complete eGov submissions at least three (3) calendar days before statutory due dates for Management approval.
• Employee Lifecycle Updates: Promptly enroll new hires and immediately remove separated or retired employees from statutory master lists.
• Loan & Deduction Tracking: Correctly process salary loans, calamity loans, taxes, and document adjustments via a Payroll Adjustment Tracker.
• Audits & Reconciliations: Conduct monthly payroll audits, statutory reconciliations, and maintain structured hard and soft copy records.
• Total Rewards Design: Develop salary structures, pay grades, and incentive programs based on market benchmarking.
• Benefits & Support: Manage health insurance and wellness vendor relationships while acting as the primary support contact for staff inquiries.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience specializing in Philippine payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using eGov portals (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR), HRIS/payroll systems, and advanced MS Excel.
• Core Competencies: High precision in load calculations, strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax codes, and statutory requirements.
