The Opportunity
Our client is a prestigious London-based financial services organisation currently looking for a Compensation & Data Analyst to join its People team. You'll start by running an established reward cycle. From there, you'll help build the modelling behind an evolving approach to pay, with a real focus on automation and smarter use of data. It's a rare chance to shape how reward works, rather than simply maintain it.
Key responsibilities
Run the annual compensation model and support the end-to-end reward cycle
Build new pay modelling as the organisation's reward methodology evolves
Produce gender and ethnicity pay gap reporting
Support job sizing and benchmarking for new roles
Provide reward analysis and clear insight to senior stakeholders
Automate recurring processes so models can be refreshed with new data each year rather than rebuilt
Help shape the use of AI and self-service tools that give managers secure, controlled access to reward data
What we're looking for
Around two to five years' experience in an analytical role within reward, or people data .
Confidence working with large datasets: cleaning, reconciling, checking and finding the story in the numbers
Advanced Excel skills (an Excel-based assessment forms part of the process)
Experience automating processes using Power Query, Power BI, VBA, SQL, Python or similar is a strong advantage
A genuine curiosity about AI, combined with sound judgement on data confidentiality
A confident, articulate communicator who can explain their analysis clearly and stand behind it when challenged
Financial services or insurance experience is welcome but not essential
If the above sounds in line with you next move we would love to hear from you.
Other offers great for you!
