Location: Hybrid in Greenwood Village, CO

Employment Type: Part-Time at 20 hours/week; 6-Month Contract

Compensation: $15 - $25/hour

We are seeking a consultative Compensation Specialist for a role with an industry-leading financial institution. In this dynamic role, you will work hand-in-hand with leaders to reshape job frameworks, map career trajectories, and ensure total pay equity—all while leveraging modern AI-assisted tools like Copilot.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Evaluate and align department role structures, redesigning position profiles, updating title hierarchies, and establishing clean career progression pathways.
• Leverage industry data and compensation benchmarks to conduct internal pay equity reviews.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business heads and human resources partners during strategic talent planning.
• Ensure all pay solutions strictly align with federal and state labor standards, including local pay transparency laws.

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:

• 2–5 years of compensation experience (conducting job evaluations, market pricing, and/or wage structure analysis).
• Good understanding of labor regulations, exemption classifications (FLSA), and state-level equal pay mandates.
• Proficient consultative and analytical skills.
• Experience with modern HR Tech platforms (e.g., Dayforce, JDX) preferred but not required.
