Complex Care Assistant (Nights)

The role

You'll be supporting a female with complex health needs at her home in the Heswall area.

Our client lives at home with her parents, and you'll be there to help get her into bed, and keep her safe while she sleeps. You'll support with personal care and hygiene, medication, seizure management and nutrition.

This vacancy is a full-time position working 3-4 shifts per week (36-48hrs). Our client requires 1:1 24hr care, so you'll be working 12hr shifts, with clinical oversight from a Lead Nurse.

You'll be expected to work weekend shifts on a rota basis, but not every weekend. There are additional 12hr shifts available with neighbouring clients, should you require additional hours.

Requirements

What we'd like:

• Experience in caring for a patient / client with complex health needs
• Car driver with access to your own vehicle

Training

Whilst we expect a degree of experience in caring for individuals with complex health needs, full clinical training on the specific needs of our client will be provided for the right candidates. This includes a combination of e-learning and classroom-based training, followed by job-shadowing and "hands-on" training by a Lead Nurse.

We operate a 24hr clinical on-call to provide round-the-clock support to our clients and their care teams.
