Complex Litigation Attorney

An established firm with over 70 years in practice is seeking Junior Level Attorneys with 3-5+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid arrangement with three days onsite each week. Openings are available at all three firm offices, located in Beverly Hills, CA , El Segundo, CA , and New York, NY . These attorneys will handle complex commercial litigation , including business disputes, contract disputes, and real estate and securities related matters , representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.

Offer

Salary range: $130,000-$200,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters

Experience with business disputes, contract disputes, and real estate or securities related litigation

JD from an accredited law school and active admission to the California or New York State Bar

Working knowledge of state and federal court procedure, including motion practice, discovery, and pretrial preparation

Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to draft persuasive motions and briefs

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with partners, colleagues, and clients

Sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters at once

Responsibilities

Manage and advance complex commercial litigation matters through every phase of a case

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and briefs

Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive and procedural issues

Take and defend depositions and assist with hearings, mediations, and trial preparation

Develop case strategy in partnership with partners and senior attorneys

Communicate regularly with clients on case status, strategy, and developments

Oversee discovery, including document review and production
