What they need
About the Role
We're looking for an AML & Compliance Analyst with hands-on KYC/AML operations experience in crypto, iGaming, or FX.
This is a role in the thick of the work, not a strategy-only or audit-only position. Each day you'll review customer files, work through transaction alerts, check due diligence, screen for sanctions and PEPs, and decide what needs to be escalated. You'll also help build and refine the quality processes that make this work faster and more accurate over time.
You'll work closely with Compliance, Operations, and Management, and you'll own both the daily casework and the larger improvements. If you've worked in high-speed, high-volume environments and stay sharp when things move fast, read on.
Who We're Looking For
We want someone who is eager to build, not just maintain. You'll thrive here if you:
- Come from crypto, iGaming, or FX and have practical, hands-on KYC and AML operations experience, beyond theory
- Take ownership by default. You don't wait to be told. You see what needs doing and do it
- Are proactive and spot risks and gaps before anyone else flags them
- Perform well under pressure in fast-moving environments with constant case queues and shifting priorities
- Have a real appetite to learn. Regulations, red flags, and industry tactics evolve quickly, and you want to stay ahead of them
- Are adaptable and can move between casework, investigations, and process improvement without losing accuracy
- Want to build something real, a stronger AML function because you were part of it
What You'll Own
- Daily KYC/AML casework: Review onboarding files, verify identity and source-of-funds documentation, and carry out ongoing due diligence under risk-based procedures.
- Transaction monitoring and red flags: Review alerts, transaction patterns, and customer activity to spot unusual or potentially suspicious behavior as it happens.
- Sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening: Run and assess screening results, and resolve true and false positives accurately and efficiently.
- Investigations and escalation: Assess suspicious activity, document your findings, and escalate cases (including SAR/STR-level decisions) in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Quality controls: Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes that keep casework accurate and consistent as volumes grow.
- Early risk identification: Run regular audits and reviews of internal processes and controls to catch gaps early.
- Stronger AML processes: Work with Compliance and Operations to refine controls, procedures, and reporting accuracy based on what you see day to day.
- Compliance communications: Monitor incoming compliance emails, flag urgent items, and escalate to management without delay.
- Prioritization: Manage live casework, investigations, and QA projects at the same time while staying accurate and organized.
- Staying current: Keep building your knowledge of AML/KYC regulations, risk indicators, and best practices specific to crypto, iGaming, or FX.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in KYC/AML operations, transaction monitoring, or financial crime prevention, ideally in crypto, iGaming, or FX
- Working knowledge of KYC procedures, customer due diligence, sanctions/PEP screening, and SAR/STR processes
- A solid grasp of AML regulations, risk-based approaches, and compliance best practices in fast-moving financial environments
- An analytical, investigative mindset, with an eye for inconsistencies and patterns others miss
- Comfort with autonomy and high ownership, and a habit of identifying what needs to happen next
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure and tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A self-learner mindset: curious, adaptable, and always sharpening your regulatory and technical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, and the confidence to raise findings and escalate concerns clearly
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (relevant industry experience carries significant weight)
What We Offer
- Competitive salary matched to your experience
- Comprehensive benefits package
- Ongoing professional development in a field that never stops evolving
- A fast-paced environment that rewards initiative and treats compliance as a competitive edge, not a formality
- Direct collaboration with Compliance, Operations, and Management, with real influence over how casework and controls evolve
- A role designed for people who want to build, not just maintain
Think You Have an Eye for Risk?
Maybe you come from crypto, iGaming, or FX, and you know a KYC file as well as you know AML regulation. Maybe you question procedures instead of just following them, and you want to build something stronger. If so, this is your next challenge.
