What they need

Calling all originals: At Levi Strauss & Co., you can be yourself — and be part of something bigger. We’re a company of people who like to forge our own path and leave the world better than we found it. Who believe that what makes us different makes us stronger. So add your voice. Make an impact. Find your fit — and your future.

Summary of the role:

As a valued member of the global Ethics & Compliance team, this position will help us protect and build on the LS&Co. legacy through the day-to-day management of essential corporate compliance and privacy initiatives.

The Compliance & Privacy Analyst will contribute to high-visibility corporate compliance plans. The focus will be on monitoring and supporting our privacy and third-party programmes. You will contribute to the continued enhancement of an ethical corporate culture.

About the role:

  • Support the global third-party due diligence programme. This includes conducting privacy impact assessments, sanctions screening, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption reviews of new vendors. Additionally, escalate important compliance issues to leadership and attorneys.
  • Help develop a more risk-based approach for handling vendor-related privacy issues. Implement methodology through existing tools and platforms, such as Levelpath and ServiceNow, to ensure agreement between internal processes.
  • Deliver training for both LS&Co. employees and third parties on compliance and privacy requirements, and support outreach efforts, including by posting and updating internal guidelines and materials.
  • Help coordinate and track progress of important compliance and privacy programmes, including policy roll-outs, training programmes, and awareness-raising campaigns such as Global Compliance Week.
  • Work with the business and other partners, including Legal, Sourcing, Sustainability, and Infosec. Identify and address compliance and privacy gaps with them. These gaps include data mapping, data subject requests, and cookie compliance. Flag issues to leadership for remediation.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the compliance and privacy programme's operational infrastructure, including by drafting procedures and SOPs, and researching privacy-enhancing technologies to improve team efficiency.
  • Occasional international travel.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree required; social sciences, law or business degree is good to have.
  • 4+ years of prior corporate experience
  • Prior experience in privacy, ethics and compliance, or a related field desirable.
  • Experience using a variety of software tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, and TrustArc).
  • Familiarity with compliance programmes, software solutions, and risk-ranking methodologies.
  • Experience with global privacy concepts, including familiarity with GDPR and CCPA, and interest in privacy issues posed by artificial intelligence.
  • Experience with privacy impact assessments and privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) is good to have.
  • Familiarity with or interest in anti-bribery/anti-corruption frameworks and sanctions compliance.
  • Understand and explain privacy and compliance risk to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify and escalate compliance concerns and offer potential solutions.

Benefits:
We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters. Whether it is for medical care, taking time off, improving your health or planning for retirement, we've got you covered.

Here's a small snapshot:

  • Complimentary preventive health check-up for you & your spouse
  • OPD coverage
  • Best in class leave plan including paternity & family care leaves
  • Counselling sessions to prioritize mental well-being
  • Exclusive discount vouchers on Levi’s products
