About the role

We are seeking a Compliance and Risk Management Supervisor to join our team at our Quezon City Metro Manila location on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our contracts management division, responsible for overseeing compliance frameworks and identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our construction projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all operations adhere to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, whilst safeguarding the company's interests and reputation.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures aligned with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and company objectives
• Monitor and audit construction projects to ensure adherence to contract terms, safety regulations, and legal compliance requirements
• Identify potential risks within contracts, project execution, and operational processes, and develop mitigation strategies to minimise exposure
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, audit findings, and risk assessments for regulatory and internal purposes
• Liaise with project managers, legal advisors, and government regulatory bodies to resolve compliance issues and ensure ongoing adherence to standards
• Conduct regular training and briefing sessions for staff on compliance requirements, risk management protocols, and contractual obligations
• Review and analyse contracts to identify potential legal, financial, and operational risks before project commencement
• Investigate compliance breaches and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventative actions as necessary
• Prepare regular compliance and risk reports for senior management, highlighting key issues, trends, and recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain compliance standards throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5-7 years of proven experience in compliance, risk management, or contracts administration within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of Philippine construction regulations, building codes, and occupational safety standards (OSHA compliance)
• Familiarity with contractual frameworks, including design-bid-build, design-build, and other construction delivery methods
• Excellent understanding of risk assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies specific to construction projects
• Proficiency in using compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with diverse stakeholders
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance and risk management tasks simultaneously
• Certification in compliance management, risk management, or construction safety (such as BCSP or CSSP) is highly desirable
• Experience with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001) would be advantageous
