Compliance Associate - Remediation - Contract to Perm

Our client, a well established financial services organisation with offices in over 30 jurisdictions, is seeking a Compliance Associate to join their compliance function on an initial contract basis, to work on an upcoming remediation project. on completion of the project, there is a possibility of the role becoming permanent.

The Role

• Review and assess compliance related cases to determine appropriate resolution actions
• Ensure cases are handled in line with internal policy, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice
• Document decisions and escalate complex matters where necessary
• Support the development of internal procedures and processes
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and operations stakeholders
• Participate in audits, reviews, and regulatory inquiries as required

What We're Looking For

• Relevant compliance certifications (e.g. CAMS, ICA) considered an asset
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a compliance or financial crime related role
• Strong understanding of AML regulations and their practical application
• Remediation experience highly desirable
• Proficiency with compliance related tools and systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools
