Compliance Executive

About the role

An established financial institution is seeking a Compliance Executive to support customer due diligence (CDD), Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and regulatory compliance activities. The role involves reviewing customer information, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting risk assessment processes in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify customer due diligence documentation for account opening, periodic reviews, and customer information updates.
• Ensure customer records are accurate, complete, and maintained in internal systems.
• Perform checks on documents submitted by business units and stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
• Liaise with internal teams to obtain clarification or additional documentation when required.
• Support risk assessment and customer review processes, including higher-risk customer cases.
• Assist in preparing and escalating cases for management approval where necessary.
• Maintain high standards of data quality and regulatory compliance.

About you

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in banking, financial services, compliance, KYC, AML, or customer due diligence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
