Compliance Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Compliance Lead to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will oversee core compliance and ethics programs within a fast-moving consumer technology environment, with a particular focus on regulatory risk and control effectiveness. The ideal candidate will help translate evolving legal and regulatory requirements into practical guidance that supports the business across multiple regions. This position also partners closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen third-party risk management, compliance resources, and mitigation efforts.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,321 – $247,718 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance corporate compliance and ethics programs and policies
• Support third-party risk management, including sanctions screening and hospitality reviews
• Identify and escalate compliance risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
• Conduct risk assessments and track approved mitigation actions
• Support regulatory monitoring across multiple regions and translate requirements into actionable guidance
• Maintain and improve self-service compliance resources and internal knowledge hubs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance-related matters

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in compliance and ethics, including sanctions and risk management programs
• Familiarity with sanctions screening, FCPA, and financial crime controls
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts
• Experience with AI and automation tools to enhance compliance workflows
• Proficiency in Google Workspace tools, especially spreadsheets and presentations
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute
