Compliance Manager

Responsibilities :

• Update any changes in relevant regulations (OIC/SEC/AMLO/FATCA/CRS) and support the implementation of new regulations. This involves working closely with the business units to design new processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Define the requirements for regulatory compliance and identifies compliance gaps and work with the business to remediate the gaps.
• Provides compliance support and advice to business concerning compliance related matters as well as laws & regulations implementation
• Provide compliance training to relevant departments in order for them to be knowledgeable of requirements of law and regulations.
• Coordinate with various regulatory authorities e.g. OIC, SEC, AMLO
• Collaborate with other departments on special projects and special compliance projects as necessary
• Develop compliance programs according to the annual compliance plan to ensure business process and internal activities are complied with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct compliance reviews in accordance with the compliance plans.
• Perform the compliance reports
• Supervise, guide, and counsel compliance teams and monitor their implementation of key compliance strategies, initiatives and action plans
• Review and revise compliance work manual and related policies on a regular basis and coordinate with other departments.
• Consult and report to the head of compliance regarding all compliance related initiatives, corrective actions, and reviews.
• Others as assigned by Head of Compliance

Qualifications :

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Law or related fields.
  5 - 7 years of work experience in Legal, Compliance in insurance business or related fields
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
• Good problem-solving capability, presentation and report-writing skills both in Thai and English languages
• Creative, resourceful and having the ability to think out of the box approaches to translate Compliance concepts into actionable business strategies and tactics to all levels of associates
• Effective decision-making skills; can choose a prompt course of action amongst options involving uncertainty or risk
• Excellent personality with a can-do attitude, analytical, detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines.
• Energetic, matured, alert with a keen ability to quickly see the big picture and link cause and effect for the next course of action
• Ability to work without much supervision and take initiative, strong prioritization, time management skills
• Able to work collaboratively with the team & others within specific deadlines.
• Good compromising skills and time-management skills
