Compliance Manager

About the role

Join WireBarley, a leading fintech, as a Compliance Manager for WireBarley Hong Kong.

In this full-time position, you will play a key role in ensuring WireBarley's regional operations in HK, AU and NZ are compliant with regulatory and statutory requirements. Compliance is at the forefront of our business operations and you will be reporting directly to the senior management.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement and maintain the company's compliance program, including policies, procedures and controls for HK, AU and NZ.
• Monitor regulatory changes and updates, and ensure the business adapts accordingly
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, identify issues and recommend solutions
• Provide compliance training and guidance to all functions/departments
• Liaise with regulators and auditors, managing any compliance-related inquiries or examinations
• Work with WireBarley's key banking, payment and processing partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed a culture of compliance across the organisation

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in a compliance or risk management role within the financial services industry

  • Previous experience at MSO or payment company is a plus

• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including anti-money laundering, know-your-customer and data protection requirements

  • knowledge of HK, AU and NZ environment

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate compliance risks

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence and educate the business

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Relevant professional qualifications, such as ACAMS, CAMS or CIPM, are highly desirable
