What they need
This is an exciting opportunity for an independent, commercially minded compliance professional to lead compliance, risk and governance initiatives while supporting the company's growth and IPO readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead regulatory compliance and governance across business operations
Advise business stakeholders on compliance and risk matters
Conduct compliance reviews, audits and drive remediation initiatives
Oversee AML/KYC processes and regulatory reporting
Support IPO readiness, internal controls and governance framework
Partner with senior management and conduct compliance visits across Malaysia
Key Requirements
6–10 years' experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, Operations or related functions
Experience in financial services, lending, pawnbroking, retail operations or similar regulated industries is preferred
Candidates with manufacturing QA/QC or process control experience are also encouraged to apply
Good understanding of Malaysian regulatory requirements and AML/CFT principles
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Independent, hands-on and willing to travel across Malaysia (including East Malaysia)
