Compliance Manager

Job Responsibilities (Combined General & IT Compliance):

• Regulatory & IT Alignment: Monitor, evaluate, and ensure that both general business operations and IT systems comply with applicable local laws, corporate policies, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR, BOT/SEC regulations, ISO 27001).
• Policy Development: Review, update, and draft internal compliance policies, , guidelines, and procedures to reflect changes in regulatory environments.
• Compliance-Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the organization, proposing effective corrective actions or preventive measures.
• Provide advisory: Support and practical guidance to various departments regarding compliance risks and regulatory standards.
• Monitoring: Monitor and ensure that the company’s business operations comply with applicable laws, government regulations, and internal corporate policies
• Awareness & Training: Develop and conduct training sessions to educate employees on regulatory compliance and corporate ethics.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Direct Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, legal affairs, risk management, or internal audit.
• [Highly Preferred Certifications] Knowledge and experience in IT Compliance (e.g., PDPA/GDPR, ISO 27001, IT General Controls, or cyber security regulations) will be highly advantageous and given special consideration.
• Analytical & Critical Thinking:  Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex laws and regulations into practical business processes.
• Communication & Liaison: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) and computer literacy.
