Compliance Manager

Freshco is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead our food safety, regulatory, certification, and traceability programmes across our orchard and post-harvest operations nationwide. This is a leadership role that will ensure we continue to meet the highest standards while supporting growth in domestic and international markets. This role will report to GM Operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead food safety, compliance, certification, and traceability programmes across the business.
• Manage key certifications including GlobalG.A.P., GRASP, BRCGS, MPI, SEDEX, and customer-specific requirements.
• Own compliance systems, audits, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as Freshco's key liaison with regulators, verification agencies, and customers.
• Lead product integrity, recall readiness, biosecurity, and crisis response programmes.
• Ensure robust traceability and data integrity that protects market access and customer confidence.

Skills and Experiences

• Experience in compliance, food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory leadership.
• Strong understanding of certification programmes, audits, and export compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to risk management.
• The ability to influence, educate, and drive compliance excellence across a diverse business.
