Altrincham | Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 | Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Ready to take ownership of compliance in a fast-growing UK broadband business? At Rise Fibre, we’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded Compliance Manager to build and shape our compliance framework as we continue to grow.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to make a real impact, working closely with our CFO, Executive team and external General Counsel to protect our customers, strengthen governance and ensure we meet our regulatory obligations.

What you'll be doing

• Build and own our compliance framework, including policies, controls, governance and risk management.
• Lead telecoms regulatory compliance, with a focus on Ofcom requirements across broadband, VoIP and mobile services.
• Plan and deliver compliance audits, identify risks and drive corrective actions through to completion.
• Oversee wider compliance areas, including data protection, consumer protection, supplier assurance and whistleblowing.
• Report to senior stakeholders, providing clear insights, dashboards and assurance to the Executive team and Risk Committee.
• Embed a positive compliance culture, providing practical advice and guidance across the business.

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in compliance, regulatory risk or assurance, ideally within telecoms, broadband or another regulated consumer sector.
• A good understanding of Ofcom regulations, or transferable experience from a comparable regulated industry.
• Experience developing compliance frameworks, conducting audits and managing remediation plans.
• Working knowledge of UK GDPR, PECR and consumer protection legislation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence senior leaders.
• A pragmatic, evidence-led approach, with the ability to turn complex regulations into practical solutions.

Telecoms-specific compliance experience and relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
