The position is located in WIRTGEN GROUP’s headquarters, based in Windhagen, Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Compliance Manager supporting WIRTGEN GROUP globally, acting as the strategic interface on compliance risks, program expectations, regulatory matters, and alignment with Deere and Company’s Ethics and Compliance strategy
  • Provide practical, business-oriented compliance guidance across a broad range of matters, including but not limited to: anti-bribery and anti-corruption, fraud risk, third-party relationships, trade compliance, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, training, policy and regulatory interpretation, and employee questions or concerns.

  • Use data analytics, digital tools, and emerging AI capabilities to identify compliance trends, strengthen risk visibility, improve monitoring and reporting, and support more informed, risk-based decision-making, consistent with company policies and responsible AI principles.
  • Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate compliance risks, translating those risks into practical recommendations and actions.
  • Support compliance risk assessments and related remediation activities, including the collection and analysis of information, documentation of findings, development of mitigation plans, and monitoring of agreed actions.
  • Support the continued alignment of WIRTGEN GROUP into Deere’s global compliance framework by helping implement enterprise policies, procedures, systems, controls, and compliance expectations across relevant operations, functions, and markets.
  • Collaborate with Deere and Company’s Compliance Managers to identify, evaluate, escalate, and address compliance risks across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
  • Facilitate information sharing and risk visibility for WIRTGEN and Deere and Company stakeholders, including emerging, complex, and cross-border compliance matters.
  • Develop and support risk-based compliance training, communications, monitoring activities, management reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with WIRTGEN GROUP and Deere stakeholders, providing guidance, coaching, and support while promoting a culture of integrity, ethical behavior, transparency, and accountability.

What Skills You Need:

  • At least 5 years of practical experience working as a compliance specialist, compliance manager, or similar professional supporting a company’s broader ethics and compliance needs.

  • Ability to operate as a compliance generalist, recognize issues across different compliance disciplines, provide sound initial guidance, and engage subject-matter specialists when appropriate.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to translate policies, regulatory expectations, and compliance requirements into practical guidance for business stakeholders.
  • Ability to build relationships, establish credibility, and influence stakeholders across multiple cultures, business functions, organizational levels, and regions.
  • Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues and competing priorities while maintaining high standards of integrity, discretion, and accountability.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and German.

  • Working knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption, third-party risk management, trade and sanctions compliance, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, fraud risk, corporate codes of conduct, or investigatory practices.
  • Experience conducting compliance risk assessments, developing risk mitigation plans, and monitoring remediation activities.
  • Experience developing or delivering compliance training, communications, monitoring activities, dashboards, and management reporting.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive change through collaboration, credibility, and trust.
  • Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
