About the role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join a growing asset management platform. This is a hands-on role within the Compliance team, responsible for providing comprehensive compliance support across fund management activities, regulatory matters, marketing materials review, and KYC oversight. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Hong Kong asset management regulations and practical experience working within a regulated fund management environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day compliance advisory and support to business stakeholders.
• Review and approve marketing, promotional, and client-facing materials to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining KYC policies, procedures, and controls.
• Review customer due diligence and KYC documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support the handling of regulatory inquiries, inspections, and communications with regulators.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in implementing necessary compliance enhancements.
• Participate in compliance monitoring, control testing, and risk management initiatives.
• Undertake ad hoc compliance-related projects and assignments as required.

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above from a reputable university.
• 3-6 years of compliance experience gained within the asset management industry.
• Prior experience with a well-established asset management firm is highly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements, including Fund Manager Code of Conduct (FMCC), Advertising Guidelines, and SFC regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of asset management operations and fund management activities.
• Familiarity with SFC-authorized funds, UCITS funds, Cayman SPC structures, and alternative investment products.
• Experience in marketing materials review and KYC compliance processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
