About the Role

A technology company operating in a regulated industry is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to take ownership of its day-to-day compliance activities.

This is an independent, hands-on role that requires strong regulatory knowledge, sound professional judgment, and the ability to manage compliance responsibilities from start to finish.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being directly involved in compliance work, takes initiative, and can operate independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing compliance activities and controls in accordance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct KYC/KYB, customer due diligence (CDD/EDD), and AML checks.
• Review customer onboarding and make compliance-related decisions.
• Monitor activities, investigate unusual transactions, and handle compliance exceptions.
• Identify compliance risks, address gaps, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide compliance guidance and support to internal teams.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and support audits and regulatory reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a financial compliance role, preferably as a Compliance Officer or in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Israeli financial regulations.
• Solid understanding of AML/CFT requirements and financial crime prevention.
• Practical experience with KYC/KYB, due diligence, transaction monitoring, and compliance controls.
• Previous experience in a regulated financial environment.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make professional compliance decisions.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.
