Compliance Quality Assurance (Assistant) Manager

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct regular compliance review program for AML/CFT including CDD, transaction monitoring, sanction screening, anti-bribery, etc
• Conduct AML/CFT thematic review, based upon the red flags, findings from internal or external auditors, or as an immediate response upon the requests from the relevant regulatory authorities
• Set up Compliance QA plan for new product launching
• Assist to manage and conduct conflict of interest related reviews, assessments and framework governance
• Provide advice on regulatory compliance matters including retail banking, business banking, investment and insurance related matters
• Follow up on the corrective actions for the findings from the testing results
• Review and update QA compliance and conflict of interest related policies and procedures to reflect the regulatory changes
• Support the regulatory compliance function and assist the head of regulatory compliance from time to time
• Support ad hoc projects
• Assist in other compliance related tasks as assigned

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor degree holder or above
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience, with authorized institutions in compliance monitoring or auditing
• Knowledge in AML/CFT, and AML-related qualification (eg. CAMS) is a plus
• Knowledge in regulatory compliance matters (especially retail banking, business banking, and/or investment and insurance) is a plus
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good command of English and Chinese
