Compliance Specialist

Huawei Romania is looking for a talented and motivated Compliance Specialist to join its Legal & Compliance team in Bucharest.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance within a global technology leader. You will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks while partnering with business stakeholders to support sustainable and compliant business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contracts and business arrangements to identify potential compliance risks and provide professional recommendations.
• Conduct compliance assessments for business and sales projects, focusing on anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, improper business conduct, and other key compliance risks.
• Support compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments, helping identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in developing compliance training materials, case studies, and awareness initiatives.
• Support the organization and delivery of compliance training and communication programs.
• Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Coordinate compliance meetings, monitor action plans, and follow up on key compliance matters.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical business conduct.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related discipline.
• Minimu m 3 years of experien ce in Compliance, Legal, Internal Control, Risk Management, Audit, or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of compliance risk management principles and risk assessment methodologies.
• Sound knowledge of: Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC); Competition Law; Financial Compliance; Trade Compliance; Third-Party Compliance Management
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
