Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist works closely with property management teams to ensure that CMI-managed properties remain in compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing program requirements. This position provides day-to-day compliance support to site staff, reviews resident certification files and monthly reports, identifies and resolves compliance issues, and assists properties in preparing for audits and inspections.

The Compliance Specialist serves as a resource to property managers and staff by answering compliance questions, reviewing documentation, monitoring deadlines, and providing guidance on proper procedures. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and the ability to interpret and apply affordable housing regulations.
