Component Rebuild Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and safety focused Component Rebuild Technician to work in our Clean Room. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the inspection, rebuild, testing, and commissioning of major components for heavy mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and rebuild major components including engines, hydraulic pumps and cylinders etc.
• Diagnose faults
• Conduct testing and quality assurance checks on rebuilt components
• Disassemble, inspect, measure and assess components for wear and damage
• Inspect and test machinery to ensure operational readiness.

About you:

Experience & Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.
• Proven experience with heavy mobile plant equipment in mining or civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical diagnostics

Licences & Skills

• Current Driver’s Licence (HR preferred).
• Forklift Licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
