About Us

Carbon Component Solutions ("CCS") is a growing composite manufacturing company based in Silverstone. We operate in a fast-paced production environment, supplying high-quality composite components to the motorsport, automotive and general industrial sectors.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Composite Trimmer / Assembly Technician to join our team.

The Role

As a Composite Trimmer / Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the accurate trimming, finishing and assembly of composite components and moulds.

You will be working to technical drawings and production instructions, ensuring all components meet the required quality standards and production timescales.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Trimming composite components and moulds
• Reading and working from technical drawings and work instructions
• Fitting BOM (Bill of Materials) components
• Bonding and assembling components
• Finishing components to a high standard
• Carrying out quality checks
• Completing production paperwork accurately
• Working to tight production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years' experience in composites, fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in composite component manufacture
• Good knowledge of composite trimming and assembly processes
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
• A strong focus on quality
• The ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
• A dependable and hardworking approach
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• A flexible approach and the ability to adapt to changing customer requirements

Experience within the motorsport or automotive industry would be advantageous.
