Composite Trimmer

We are currently recruiting 2 experienced Composite Trimmers to join an exciting project based in Austria.

This is a great opportunity for skilled composite professionals with a strong background in the automotive or motorsport industry to join a high-quality project working with advanced carbon fibre and composite components.

Contract Details

• 3–5 month contract
• 40–50 hours per week
• Starting ASAP
• Paid every 2 weeks
• Based in Austria

The Role

You will be responsible for the trimming and finishing of high-quality composite and carbon fibre components, ensuring all parts are completed accurately and meet the required technical and quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Trimming carbon fibre and composite components
• Cutting and drilling components accurately
• Sanding, grinding and finishing composite parts
• Preparing components for the next stage of production
• Removing excess material and ensuring clean, precise edges
• Carrying out detailed finishing work on carbon components
• Using hand tools and specialist composite trimming equipment
• Working accurately from technical drawings and specifications
• Checking finished components for defects and imperfections
• Ensuring components meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Maintaining a consistently high standard of workmanship
• Following all relevant production and Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Strong previous experience as a Composite Trimmer
• Previous experience within automotive or motorsport is essential
• Good knowledge of carbon fibre and composite materials
• Experience with trimming, cutting, drilling, sanding and finishing composite components
• Ability to confidently use composite trimming tools and equipment
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Good communication skills in English
• Right to work in the EU is essential
