ABOUT CUSTOMEDICA PHARAMACY

With two convenient locations in Boise and Eagle, Idaho, Customedica Pharmacy is a locally owned pharmacy dedicated to serving the diverse healthcare needs of the Treasure Valley. We are proud to offer the best of both worlds: comprehensive conventional community retail pharmacy services and a specialized compounding laboratory. We believe that wellness is not a one-size-fits-all practice. Our team is committed to fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment where pharmacy professionals are empowered to utilize their skills and elevate the standard of patient care.

JOB SUMMARY

We are currently expanding our team and have an opening for a licensed compounding pharmacy technician. Because we operate both a bustling retail community pharmacy and a state-of-the-art compounding lab, we are seeking versatile candidates with a variety of backgrounds.

  • Calibrate and maintain compounding equipment and perform daily/weekly cleaning of the compounding laboratory.
  • Maintain precise compounding logs and prescription documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional, compassionate customer service to all patients in person and over the phone.
  • Assist pharmacists in the daily operation of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and managing outdated medications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Active Idaho pharmacy technician license.
  • Experience: 2+ years of pharmacy experience is required; previous non-sterile compounding experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right detail-oriented candidate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, strong organizational habits, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing software and basic computer operations.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8 hours per shift).
  • Dexterity and fine motor skills for handling small instruments, counting pills, or weighing powders.
  • Ability to comfortably wear required PPE for long durations.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
