About Carepack Pharmacy

We’re a patient-first compounding pharmacy team that takes pride in doing things the right way: clean, consistent and compliant. We focus on non-sterile compounding. If you enjoy making high-quality custom medications and want a steady, supportive workplace where your skills are valued, you’ll fit right in.

Why you’ll like working here

  • Your evenings and weekends stay yours. Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:00.
  • You don’t count pills here. You make custom medications from scratch, each one prepared for a real patient whose needs a factory product doesn’t meet.
  • Your skills are valued. We do things the right way, and we take care of the people who do them.
  • You’ll keep growing. Training and growth opportunities in compounding, plus paid time off and holidays.

What you’ll do

You’ll be a key part of our production and quality workflow:

  • Compound a variety of non-sterile preparations, such as creams, ointments, gels, capsules, oral suspensions, troches and suppositories.
  • Weigh, measure and mix accurately using master formulations and batch records.
  • Run the numbers: calculate quantities and concentrations, and scale batches.
  • Follow the standards: USP <795>, our SOPs, and state and federal pharmacy rules.
  • Coordinate patient intake: enter new prescriptions and patient profiles, follow up with provider offices about missing information, and confirm payment and delivery details. Keep patients updated on their order status,so every order moves smoothly from prescription to pickup or shipping.
  • Label and package finished preparations for final pharmacist verification and dispensing.
  • Keep the lab clean and organized: daily and weekly cleaning logs, plus equipment care.
  • Support inventory: ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking lot numbers, expiration dates and recalls.
  • Document clearly: batch logs, temperature logs, cleaning logs, beyond-use date support, and any variances.
  • Be part of the team: work with our pharmacists to keep production moving, and help with patient and provider calls in English and Spanish.

What you bring

Required

  • Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician registration
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Foundational pharmacy math skills: ratios, concentrations, conversions and scaling
  • Consistent attention to detail, and comfort following strict procedures
  • Willing to wear PPE as needed for the ingredients being handled
  • Able to pass a background check

Preferred

  • 1+ year of hands-on compounding experience
  • English/Spanish speaker
  • PTCB CPhT or NHA ExCPT certification preferred
  • Experience with a range of dosage forms and bases, and with common compounding equipment: balances, ointment mill, MAZ mixer and capsule machine
  • Familiarity with quality documentation, USP <795>, internal audits, and PK Software

What success looks like

  • Your compounds are accurate, consistent and clean.
  • Your documentation is complete and ready for an audit.
  • Work moves efficiently without cutting corners.
  • You speak up early when something looks off, such as a formula question, an ingredient concern or an equipment issue.

Pay and benefits

  • $18 – $22/hour based on experience and certification, plus overtime pay over 40 hours
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Training and growth opportunities in compounding
  • Paid continuing education credits after qualification
