Compounding Supervisor/Officer

About the role

This role involves ensuring and controlling compounding and chemical preparation within specification, supervising compounding operations, and supporting latex compound and chemical preparation to achieve glove quality standards and output targets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compounding workers for prepared NR, NBR latex compound and all chemical activities
• Analyze root cause of glove quality issues from latex and chemical components and troubleshooting
• Check stock raw latex and chemical
• Monitor steps of the compounding process, study methods, and facilitate corrections within process control points
• Manage work systems by communicating job completion, planning, monitoring and appraising job results, disciplining employees and enforcing systems policies and procedures
• Check parameters for latex compound and all chemicals within specification
• Support special orders and follow production requests
• Maintain cleaning and housekeeping of work area and complete all GMP requirements

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Polymer, Rubber Technology or related field
• New graduate or experience in manufacturing preferred
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office
