Compression/Rotating Equipment Mechanic

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining essential rotating equipment including water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors — the backbone of our operations.

Job Duties:

The task will include weekly performance checks, monitoring oil levels, temperatures, vibration readings, and inspecting for leaks on mechanical seals. This position will be required to keep the equipment / the sites clean, organized, and running at peak performance. It is a requirement to manage maintenance scheduling and tracking. As well as, maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies, and lead contractors on-site when needed. All work must be performed with a top level of accuracy and attention to detail around safety. This position must comply with all company, state, and federal regulations to stay within legal compliance.

Competencies:

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot rotating equipment including water pumps, chemical pumps, electric motors, air compressors, generators, and gas compressors.
• Operational Checks: Perform weekly inspections of pump operations, including monitoring oil levels, temperature, vibration readings, and checking for mechanical seal leaks.
• Site Upkeep: Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintenance Scheduling: Keep maintenance schedules and tracking systems up to date to support efficient operations.
• Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies required for scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Contractor Oversight: Lead and coordinate contractors during maintenance and repair activities as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company, state, and federal safety regulations and procedures.

Hourly pay rate of: $38-42 per hour.
