Compressor Operator

• Operate and monitor natural gas compressor stations and related equipment

• Perform routine inspections and identify operational or mechanical issues

• Monitor pressures, temperatures, fluid levels and equipment performance

• Start, stop and adjust compressors as required to maintain safe and efficient operations

• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor preventative maintenance

• Inspect valves, piping, pumps, vessels and related production equipment

• Record operating data and complete required reports and documentation

• Coordinate with maintenance and operations personnel regarding equipment issues

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow all company and client safety procedures and environmental requirements

• Previous experience operating natural gas compressors or similar oil and gas production equipment preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently in a field environment

• Understanding of compressor station safety and operating procedures

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

• Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening

Crosby Energy Services is currently seeking a Compressor Operator to support field operations in the Mansfield, Pennsylvania area.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining natural gas compressor equipment and associated production facilities.
