We are looking for an Accountant on a temporary contract of 6 months, following a maternity leave.

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the successful candidate will have to assist in various missions:

• Responsible for reviewing and posting supplier invoices, as well as preparing payments, ensuring compliance with financial authority limits and SOX requirements.
• Performs month-end closing journal entries and reviews aged supplier balances to ensure timely payment of suppliers.
• Ensures that ICVs are properly prepared and that related costs are justified.
• Reconciles intercompany balances and follows up on month-end differences.
• Prepares bank and inventory reconciliations, as well as month-end balance sheet analysis files.
• Participates in SOX audits (Internal Audit and E&Y) and monitors sales commissions to ensure budget compliance.
• Produces ad hoc reports, assists with the preparation of VAT returns, and provides support to the Billing Manager, Accounting Assistant, and Credit Controller in the management of customers and suppliers.

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting or equivalent, with initial experience of minimum 3 years in accounting, in an international environment and within the agri‑food industry.
