Comptroller

About the role

Oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial reports
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (PSAK/IFRS), tax regulations, and internal company policies
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other relevant stakeholders during financial audits and reporting processes
• Review financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide recommendations to improve accounting accuracy and operational efficiency
• Monitor the implementation of internal controls and identify potential financial risks or control weaknesses
• Support management in financial analysis, budgeting, and other financial matters as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing, preferably with experience in a Big Four or reputable Public Accounting Firm (KAP)
• Strong understanding of PSAK/IFRS, financial reporting, accounting principles, and internal control procedures
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation and review, account reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing
• Experience handling external audits and coordinating with auditors and other stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems or ERP platforms
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
