Compute Engineer - Hedge Fund

I'm working with a multi-manager hedge fund to find a Compute Engineer in London, New York or Chicago. They're looking for someone to help build and operate their high-performance, on premises compute platform for their investment and research platform.

The role focusses on building software control systems across Kubernetes, bare-metal Linux and virtualised environments, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability and low-latency performance.

Tech stack: Kubernetes, Linux, Python, Bare Metal, Server Virtualisation, Networking

You'll work closely across teams to build resilient compute infrastructure, establish automated controls and improve the performance of large-scale environments.

They're looking for an experienced engineer with strong Kubernetes and bare-metal compute expertise, alongside networking and performance-tuning.
