About the role

We are seeking a Computer and Mobile Phone Technician to join our experienced team at iMend Tech' in Sunshine Coast, QLD. As a full-time technician, you will be responsible for providing expert repair and maintenance services for a wide range of electronic devices, ensuring our customers receive prompt and reliable assistance. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a fast-paced retail environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues in laptops, desktops, smartphones, and tablets
2. Performing data recovery, privacy audits, virus removal, cyber security basics and software troubleshooting
3. Providing guidance and technical support to customers
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work area
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and repair techniques
6. Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience as a computer & mobile phone technician
2. Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of electronic devices
3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
4. Customer service-oriented with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
5. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, retail environment
6. Passion for technology and a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends
