About the Role

We are seeking a Computer Applications Teacher for Grades 10-12 who is passionate about technology and education. In this role, you will focus on delivering comprehensive lessons in computer applications, empowering students with essential digital skills and knowledge to thrive in a tech-driven world.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons in computer applications, including software use, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills.
• Create and implement assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress in computer applications.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Provide support and guidance to students in project work and coursework.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience and promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification with a focus on computer studies or educational technology.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching computer applications or related subjects at the senior school level.
• Strong knowledge of various computer applications, software, and digital tools.
• Capable of creating an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in curriculum development and lesson planning to meet educational standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in computer applications or pedagogy.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and virtual classroom environments.
• Familiarity with project-based learning methodologies.
