About the Opportunity

JustAnswer is seeking experienced Computer Experts to join our platform as independent contractors. This is not an employment position and does not include employee benefits. Experts maintain full professional independence and are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide aligns with applicable industry standards and regulations.

As a Computer Expert, you may respond to customer inquiries submitted through the platform and provide technical information or troubleshooting guidance via secure chat or phone.

This flexible engagement model allows you to leverage your expertise while maintaining control over your schedule and participation level.

You have full control over:

• Setting your own availability
• Choosing available customer questions that align with your expertise
• Choosing to engage via chat, phone, or both
• Determining how often you participate
• Working remotely from the location of your choice

There are no long-term commitments required.

How It Works

• Review Customer Inquiries: Access incoming questions through the platform, including a summary of the issue and preferred communication method.
• Select Questions: Choose inquiries that align with your expertise and availability.
• Engage Customers: Provide information and troubleshooting support through secure chat or phone.
• Maximize Your Time: If a customer is delayed in responding, you may select additional questions to address.
• Provide Follow-Up Support: Customers may request additional assistance when needed, allowing for continuity of service.
• Deliver Excellent Service: Share accurate, clear, and helpful information to support positive customer experiences.

Compensation

Experts receive monthly Subscriber earnings for eligible customers in their Subscriber Portfolio while those customers maintain an eligible paid JustAnswer membership. Through Subscriber Portfolios, eligible customers may remain connected to the Expert who first helped them—creating continuity when they return with additional questions.

Payments are issued monthly. There are no fees to apply or join the platform.

Qualifications

• Professional IT certification such as CompTIA A+, MCSA, or equivalent, OR a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
