Computer Lab Assistant

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Assist students in using computers, software applications, and other digital tools for academic purposes.
• Provide technical support to faculty members on various IT-related issues.
• Maintain the inventory of computer equipment and peripherals in the lab, ensuring proper functioning and upkeep.
• Troubleshoot minor hardware and software problems independently or escalate them to senior staff as needed.

Job Requirements :

• 1-10 years of experience as a Computer Lab Assistant/Technician or related field.
• Strong knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows/Linux) and basic programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues independently or seek guidance from supervisors when necessary.
