We're recruiting an experienced CNC Milling Machinist for a precision manufacturing operation in Central Connecticut.

This opportunity is for a machinist who knows their craft , someone who can walk up to a 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC mill , perform a detailed setup, prove out a program, troubleshoot problems, make adjustments, and confidently produce complex, high-quality parts.

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Load, prove out, and maintain CNC programs
• Set offsets and make necessary program adjustments
• Read and edit G & M code
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues
• Run complex precision-machined components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Inspect your own work and verify parts meet customer requirements
• Use precision measuring equipment including:
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Indicators
• Depth gauges
• Dial bore gauges
• Micro-height gauges
• Work with engineering to improve programs, processes, and fixturing
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Help train and mentor less-experienced machinists

We're Looking for a Machinist Who Has:

• 5+ years of CNC milling experience
• Experience in an aerospace machining or job-shop environment
• Strong CNC setup and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and/or 5-axis milling
• Ability to read and edit G & M code
• Strong blueprint and GD&T knowledge
• Confidence using precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and related tooling
• Ability to work independently and run multiple machines when needed
• A strong eye for quality and attention to detail
