Job Posting: CNC Lathe Machinist (Multi-Axis)

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour + Overtime Available

We're seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. If you have extensive experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes , programming with G & M code , and machining precision components to tight tolerances, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes to manufacture precision-machined components.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs using G & M code.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor machining operations and make tool offsets and process adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues to maximize efficiency.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of CNC lathe setup and machining experience.
• Experience programming and editing G & M code.
• Strong experience operating multi-axis CNC lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and machining best practices.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
