Position Overview

The Assistant Engineer – CNC Machining supports daily machining operations by assisting in CNC programming, machine setup, process execution, and continuous improvement activities. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and quality‑compliant production of precision components while working closely with senior engineers, production, quality, and maintenance teams.

This position provides hands‑on exposure to CNC milling and/or turning processes, tooling, process optimization, and problem‑solving in a manufacturing environment, serving as a developmental role for future Manufacturing or Process Engineers.

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in CNC machine setup, prove‑out, and operation for milling, turning, or multi‑axis machines
• Support execution and optimization of CNC programs (Fanuc / Citizen / Mazatrol / Star Machines etc.)
• Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• Support cycle time reduction and productivity improvement initiatives
• Support engineering samples preparation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
• Support Documentations like PF,PFMEA,CP, Packaging Standard.

Job Requirements & Qualification

• 1–3 years of experience in CNC machining environment ( Minimum Diploma/Degree holder)
• Hands‑on exposure to CNC milling and/or turning is preferred.
