Computer Operator (Eye Testing)

Location: Bhajanpura, North East Delhi

Mission

• Run eye test on a laptop/computer for patients.
• Explain what to do and ensure the test is being done properly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the test on a laptop/tablet, and explain the procedure to the patient in simple Hindi.
• Register the patient and enter their complete details
• Set up the test correctly every time: correct viewing distance, screen brightness, room lighting, one eye covered, device charged and connected
• Guide the patient through the test
• Give the printed/digital report at the end of the visit (no interpretation or diagnosis by the technician)
• Fill forms and upload results to database as required
• Maintain the daily test register and recharge tests when needed
• Coordinate with other clinical staff on patient flow

Key Performance Indicators

• Volume tests completed per day and per month
• Quality tests that are reliable on the first attempt (no repeat needed)
• Speed average time per patient, registration to report handover
• Patient experience feedback from patients
• Data integrity — 100% of tests uploaded same day with complete patient details and a valid contact number
• Follow-up — patients advised a repeat test who actually return

Competencies

• Class 12 pass minimum; graduate preferred
• Comfortable with a laptop, browser and typing
• Has their own working laptop with webcam
• Fluent Hindi; working English for reports and coordination
• Patient, calm and respectful manner with elderly and anxious patients
• Reliable and punctual
• Preferred (not required): medical technician, optometry assistant, DMLT, pharmacy, ophthalmic assistant or hospital front-desk background
• Preference for candidates living in or near Bhajanpura

Job Details

• Location: Bhajanpura, North East Delhi (on-site)
• 6 days working with one weekly off
