Duties

• Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs on desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, and consumer electronics using hand tools and schematics.
• Troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS to resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Conduct electrical soldering and hardware maintenance to repair or replace damaged components on various electronic devices.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for mobile phones, tablets, smart devices, and other personal electronics to restore optimal performance.
• Utilize analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware failures or software malfunctions through detailed diagnostics.
• Assist customers with technical support inquiries related to operating systems, device setup, or troubleshooting mobile devices and peripherals.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures while adhering to safety protocols during equipment repair or soldering tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in computer hardware repair, including desktop computer troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Hands-on knowledge of mobile device repair for smartphones (Android & iOS) and tablets.
• Familiarity with consumer electronics repair such as printers, copiers, and smart home devices.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) along with software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using schematics for circuit analysis and performing electrical soldering or hardware maintenance tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients.
• Ability to work independently in field service environments or within retail settings while managing multiple repair requests efficiently.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
