Computer Science Teacher

We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher for the primary and middle school sections of a bilingual school located in Beijing. This position is available from August 2027 for the 2027/28 academic year.

Job details

• Teach Computer Science to primary and middle school students, making every lesson engaging and enriching
• Introduce coding, computational thinking and digital literacy in an age-appropriate way
• Plan and deliver lessons, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
• Monitor student progress and set targets so every learner can improve
• Give clear, constructive feedback to students and parents
• Work with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the curriculum
• Create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related subject
• At least 2 years as a lead classroom teacher, ideally in a bilingual setting
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting
