Computer Science – TGT

Teach and inspire students in Computer Science and Information Technology , developing strong computational thinking, problem-solving, programming, digital literacy, and technology skills while encouraging creativity and innovation.

Education/Qualification

• Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE/International school.
• Experience teaching Middle School and Secondary classes will be preferred.
• Experience in teaching Computer Science, Information Technology, programming, and digital applications will be an advantage.

Additional Qualification

• CTET qualification will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, assessment practices, Computer Science, and Information Technology.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or equivalent will be preferred.
• Experience in lesson planning, practical activities, assessments, and innovative technology-based teaching methodologies will be preferred.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, programming, algorithms, and computational thinking.
• Ability to develop students’ problem-solving, logical reasoning, coding, and digital literacy skills.
• Strong classroom management and effective teaching skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology, coding platforms, digital tools, and smart classroom resources.
• Ability to conduct practical sessions, coding activities, projects, and technology-based learning.
• Excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Passion for encouraging creativity, innovation, and responsible use of technology among students.
